FAQ

What do I wear for my session?

Any outfit that represents who you are and your personal style is perfect. If you're struggling to pick, you can never go wrong with a nice shirt and jeans.

Can I bring my family/pets/friends for pictures?

Of course! Family, friends, and pets are welcomed and encouraged. If you choose to include extra people/ animals please let me know in advance so I can accommodate accordingly and please tell me If your animal has an quirks I need to know about.

What if it rains or there is bad weather?

As Florida is prone to sudden down pours, I do allow reschedules if it rains. If it looks like it might clear, we can also discuss waiting it out if I don't have a session right after our scheduled time.

Can I change outfits?

Yes! As long as there is enough time within your hour time slot, more than one look is definitely allowed.

What should I bring to my session?

Please be dressed in your first outfit and have all parties present at the start of your session. I always recommend bringing a bag with makeup, a hair brush, and a mirror with you for quick touch ups. It is also a good idea to bring a change of shoes that are comfortable to walk in (and water proof for outdoor shoots). If you are doing a shoot with your horse, I'd recommend bringing a body and tail brush as well as a rag.

What payment do you except?

I accept cash, Zelle, and PayPall.

What if I don't know what poses to do?

That's totally ok! I have more than enough poses in my repertoire for an entire photoshoot. Typically, I ask my clients to save example photos they like so we can make sure we get those and then we work through the basic poses.

Do I have to do pictures with a horse?

Of course not! A common misconception with HFP is that I only do horse photos. While I love a cute horse girl moment, they are by no means required for photoshoots.

Can I post these on social media?

Yes I love seeing my clients post from their sessions being tagged in them is always much appreciated.

What does "edited picture" even mean?

I use Photoshop to uniquely edit each picture you see in your client gallery. I always ask my clients to show me a few of their favorite inspiration pictures so I can specifically tailor my editing style to fit their "vibe". If you ever notice anything you want changed, even something as small as a stray hair, I am always willing to fix it.

What are good locations are good for photoshoots?

Any location that is either scenic or special to you is a perfect location for a photoshoot. Some common ones are barns, flower fields, lake front spots, parks, the beach, aesthetic urban areas, or any spot that means something to you. (If the location is outside my general area, travel fees my apply).

How far in advance should I book?
